Our Programs

Children's Community

At our Montessori childcare, we offer a year-round program for children aged 6 months to 6 years old, led by our experienced lead guide Iris Perdomo. Our team consists of trained Montessori guides and highly experienced childcare professionals. Children can enjoy either a full day (8:15 AM to 3 or 5 PM), or a half day (8:15 AM to 12:30 PM) in our nurturing community.

healthy lunches & snacks

Thanks to the generous support of donors and fundraising efforts, we have launched our nutritious lunch program. Our head chef Yoely Martínez and our assistant chef, Eliza Terrero. provide one wholesome lunch and two healthy snacks daily for all our children’s programs. In line with the Montessori philosophy,  students are assigned mealtime responsibilities, learn appropriate table manners, how to wash their own plates, and set the table. sustainability

Our lead sustainability guide, Chris Tavárez, and Program Assistant, Brenda Romeo, organize comprehensive environmental and sustainability lessons for each classroom. The program covers a variety of themes, including:

  • Vegetable Gardening

  • Recycling

  • Chicken Coop Management

  • Animal Care (our students help care for 9 cats, 3 turtles, 4 dogs, several fish, bunnies, and chickens)

These engaging topic help instill a sense of responsibility and environmental awareness in our students.

after school activities

Each year, we offer a variety of after-school activities depending on the availability of our specialized staff members. In the past, we have featured jiu-jitsu sessions with our brown belt expert Iskania Perez, art classes supervised by Brenda Romeo, who holds a bachelor’s degree in art, tennis lessons with our professional coach Chris Tavárez, and contemporary dance led by different skilled staff members.

summer camp

Our summer camp program is a dynamic 5-week program beginning in late June and ending in late July. Children will engage in art and music activities, enjoy fun outdoor and water games, and participate in full-day field trip excursions. The camp schedule runs from Mondays through Thursdays, 8:15 AM to 3 PM, with a half day on Fridays from 8:15 AM to 12 PM. Join us for an unforgettable summer camp experience!

PHYSICAL EDUCATION

Under the guidance of our Program Director Iskania Perez, who holds a master’s degree in physical education, we have integrated physical education into our curriculum. Students engage in various games and sports, helping them develop coordination, agility, and a range of other physical abilities and skills.

friday visits

Friday visit help provide scholarships for 60+ students! You can pay $25 per person for a student-led tour, an authentic Dominican lunch and lots of smiles. Schedule your visit today!

student-run restaurant

Our newest project, set to open in 2025, is a restaurant run by our students in our Elementary classroom. The children will learn to cook nutritious meals, understand proper food safety and preparation, and experience the responsibility of running a business. The restaurant will serve meals to parents, teachers, visitors, donors, and other members of the 3MM community. Our vision includes harvesting fresh vegetables from our garden and eggs from our chickens and prepare them to prepare healthy, delicious meals.
