The elementary program is the biggest change to our school this year, however, you can also see signs of “bigger, better and more beautiful” improvements all around our campus.
Much of the summer was spent re-painting and refreshing the Primary and El Nido classrooms, as well as La Tienda, in preparation of welcoming students back to the new year. A big thanks to the Silvernale family, Sarah Ludwig-Ross’s sister and nephews, for their help!
As you first approach our school, you will now see cheerful murals on either side of the gate and on the walls of La Tienda; lovingly created by visiting artist from Michigan, Annette Mayton and two of her children, Tristan and Kennedi.
We have parent volunteer, Sara Centonze, to thank for her tireless work with the outdoor environment. She has spent countless hours sharing her “green thumbs” with us and the children, and the results are evident the moment you walk through our front gate.
Our courtyard and playground now boast a variety of new plants and look more beautiful every day! We look forward to expanding our gardens with flowering and vegetable-producing plants to facilitate the children’s love of hands-on and meaningful, outdoor work.
